LOL-CATS ANEW!

Today I am focussing on kitties who have been newly adopted by members of the Cat Blogosphere. I can only feature those from blogs who have already permitted me to use their photos. Strangely enough, there has been a recent influx of new feline blood into the fold (in the form of new cats and kittens, that is!). A couple of them are so recent, they don't yet have names.

For instance, here we have a sweet little tortie girl kitten without a name -- but only because they want to find the absolute right one. She belongs to the "Ball Guy" who blogs along with "The Monkeys". He's the one who does all the pen and ink drawings of Samson and Delilah. So far, "Sweet Pea" seems to be the forerunner as far as a moniker is concerned. Anyway, she sure is sweet.

Also being newly featured are Dolly, another little cutie of a blue-cream tortie girl. She has just joined Brian in his home along with all the other kitty sisters. I think she's a real doll, so her name is very apropos!

Gypsy is yet another tortoiseshell beauty who has been adopted by "The Kitty Krew", along with her new brother, formerly known as Thor. They have yet to rename this little brown tabby with white. So, I used his old name as LOL-fodder in the meantime. "The Kitty Krew" now boasts a furmily of seven -- and those are just the cats!

And not to be confused with "The Kitty Krew", the "Kool-Kitty-Krew" has a brand new baby girl kitty of their own. She's a little calico sweetie named Cricket. It looks like they've already got her on the bottle, but maybe not quite the right kind of bottle. What do you think? Cricket is joining three other kitties in her Krew.

Finally, for today at least, we have Zoey, the newest addition to Melvin's home. Melvin's kind of glad to have a playmate at last. Zoey's mama says she's likely got some Turkish Van blood in her, though they don't know for sure. She's got the pretty blue eyes, anyway.

So, help me welcome all these new furbabies with open arms and hearts! There's nothing like another kitty to warm up your home for the winter.

I guess maybe Henry VIII should have stayed public. Sweet Pea thinks he's a bore in private!

There should be no problem with rapport with this little sweetie!

Yay! You have been delivered from captivity!

There's so many toys flying around Dolly's new home, she doesn't know which way to turn!

You want to dance, purrchance?

That's good, but you'll still have to "Cher" with your new brothers and sisters.

Kitty (previously known as Thor) doesn't know what to call himself! He's fine with that as long as they call him for dinner.

So many toys, so little time!

After this, I don't think Cricket's going to need another morale boost!

I think every potential owner should pass a comPETancy test before being allowed to adopt!

Looks like his mouth has been sewn shut, so he can't mouse off any more!

What is your diagnosis, Dr. Zoey?

We thought we'd welcome Zoey in song, using the Burt Bacharach classic "What's New Pussycat".

Whoa oha ...

Whoa oha ...

Whoa oha ...

Whoa oha ...

Yes you are, Zoey! And welcome.

Awwww, look at all the new kids! How exciting! Gypsy and Not-Thor are so happy to be included in today's LOL-Spot with the other rookies - thanks!

We're looking forward to getting back to blogging - if the darn computer would get back to behaving - and meeting all the other new kids. :)

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

(PS - thanks for the heads-up, we get comments by email and can still get email, so we got the message right away and rushed right over....good thing we can see through The Mommy's work computer! MOL)
